Torment the Pigs
Samuel Knouse was a farmer. His great nephew David Thomas Knouse Sr recalls visiting his great uncle Sam’s farm with his parents and brothers. It was on this farm that David’s father Rhor Knouse, worked as a young boy.
The kids would take corn cobs outside and throw them to the pigs to watch them go wild. Sometimes, he confessed that the boys would stuff the corn cobs into the pig’s noses to listen to them squeal to their great rounds of laughter.
