Celeste Blackburn (6) Christmas Eve seeing some of the wrappings under the tree. Jessica and Nathan both finished their respective baccalaureates at Weber State University in Ogden, UT. Hers from the school of music, and his from computer science. Their separate ceremonies were held on 13 December. Yes, that's Friday the 13th. Hope that date bodes well for future job hunts. Congratulations to our two newest graduates!
"So stinkin' good!"
Minnie Coates (2) to her grandmother Michelle after her first taste of a Tootsie Roll. Michelle and I are very happy to congratulate our daughter Emily on her wedding to Emilio Ramirez. Welcome Emilio to the family! The nuptials were performed near McAllen, Texas. Emilio is from there and many of his family live there. We enjoyed a nice dinner the night before the wedding with his parents. A big thank you to all those who were able to make the travel required to get as far south in the big state as one can get without dipping in the Gulf of Mexico. It was fun watching Emily's children dancing and running around during the reception. They all looked so good in their wedding clothes.
The happy couple honeymooned in Japan! Just a little different than Texas, ay? "I was born to watch Ninja Turtles!"
Lucy Beach (4) to her father Jacob after noticing a Ninja Turtle fishing rod at the store. Congratulations to Cody and Samantha Johnson on their recent wedding! Welcome to the family Cody. We apologize in advance. Here is Sam's note from FB:
8.2.24- a day full of joy and love. It’s cliche, but our wedding day was truly the happiest day of my life. I have never felt so loved, so seen, and so celebrated. Walking down the aisle I knew I was exactly where I was meant to be- walking toward the man I am lucky enough to spend the rest of my life with. Cody, I love you more every day and marrying you is my wildest dream come true. All of our friends and family were incredible, but a huge special thanks to Lauren, Melody, Kyle, Jana, both of our parents, Fritz and Lori, and everyone else who made our day so perfect. We love you and we couldn’t have done it without you! |
